After working macs for the last decade I finally experienced the heart stopping and heart sinking moment when your laptop takes a tumble. Luckily I had a speck case on it so the damage could have been worse. It seem the only thing that's not functioning is the SD Card slot. I've already done the PRAM and SMC reset, and the Card Reader doesn't show up in the System Profile. From everything I've read online that all points to one conclusion. I'm taking it to Apple on Friday, but does anybody have any other suggestions on things to try. Also does anybody have any idea how expensive this repair is going to be?
