I bought this app on a whim (heck, only 99¢), after misunderstanding this app's capabilities. If you have Photoshop 5 or later, you can pretty much do everything this app does, but with a lot more control. This app does not allow you to resize the movie (say you want to turn an animation into a small GIF avatar), and it gives zero control of GIF settings that can help make smaller files. It's really a one trick pony. If you want to be super-technical about my criticism, I'll say this app can help turn an image sequence into an animation, though I just use an older version of QuickTime to do that, then import the movie into PSD. This gives me TONS more control over the image and sequence after that. Liquid Soap Dispenser, Best for those w/o Photoshop, etc. Quickbooks for mac 2016 can i see previous statement.

I was looking for an app with a simple interface so that I could take those few funny seconds from home videos and turn them into.gifs. Since I'm not a video editing expert, this looked like a good place to start. I read the reviews first and was a bit skeptical, but figured that perhaps the other users were looking for something more advanced than me, so I bought it anyway. The first thing I noticed is that any video I import is seriously lacking in quality. When I play the video itself in QuickTime, it's a nice clear picture.
