Keep in mind, though, that Comments in PPt are nothing more than preformatted rectangular AutoShapes that pull in the User ID info & offer the Hide feature. You may be able to get along with other AutoShapes instead of actual Comments, and you _can_ set the default formatting for them. It already has in PPT2002 and later for Windows where Comments are a new sort of critter, no longer Autoshapes and no longer formattable in any way I can see.
