Fresh install, figured a fresh OS would be nice too. However, aside from being able to use Messages, I loathe everything else about this OS. I find everything runs a bit slower, more stalls, and shutting down the computer takes forever.
Software won't work. I don't know, it's just all a big pain in the ass and feels unstable. Should I just suck it up and go back to Snow Leopard, or is Mountain Lion worth considering? I know it has Messages, which is a huge bonus, but will be as stable and smooth as Snow Leopard was on this model of the Macbook Pro? Thanks in advance. Nothing wrong with being in Europe! Max that machine will take is 4gig if I remember correctly. I honestly didn't think it would work because the GPU is pretty ancient (I'd have to boot it up. But I think its a 128mb nVidia GPU?).
