Office 2016 is a much welcome upgrade for any existing Office installation, particularly for Mac users who’ve been suffering under the rather awful Office 2011 with its ugly, clunky interface. Office 2016 brings welcome uniformity by making the Mac version nearly identical to the Windows version. Existing Office 2016 for Mac customers will be seamlessly upgraded to 64-bit versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote as part of the August product release (version 15.25). This affects customers of all license types: Retail, Office 365 Consumer, Office 365 Commercial, and Volume License installations.

Its Much easier than it was with 2011. • First while stil in Preview stage Download and install the 15.11.2 updates and Install. (This appears to be a waste of time but it updates certain components in system.) • Now Go to Applications Folder and Remove all Office 2016 applications (if You have Office 2011 Folder leave that alone) Move to Trash but do not empty yet.

• Now go to Office 365 Website, sign on using same set for Answers Forum. • Follow steps to Purchase Office 365 (for Mac will show it's Office 2016) (be sure to click on Mac version) appy attention it's not real obvious but it is there. Visual paradigm for mac free. • Install as per onscreen instructions. • Now go to one of the applications (I used Outlook) and it asked to sign in • Use Email and password used to buy Software. • Now you will receive message congratulations you have now Been activated.

When you go back to Browser you were using click on Account tab. Office 365 should now show one activation. Note: I also have iPad and iPhone Versions. But haven't worked out yet how to get them activated. _________ Disclaimer: The questions, discussions, opinions, replies & answers I create, are solely mine and mine alone, and do not reflect upon my position as a Community Moderator.
